Mud has arrived!  Here we are in the middle of our concrete pour.  Thats fibermesh reinforced concrete.  The fibers are so small you cant tell, but when the slab dries, then you see the small fuzz of the mesh fibers.
Lynn Hupp and his crew did the concrete on this job, and they did an excellent job.
A beautiful slab - flat, level, and square!  Ready for lumber.
The walls are 12 high 2x6 walls, and they are heavy!  There will be a lot of lumber going into this small addition.
Here fellow contractor Joaquin Anaya, who helped with the framing, poses for the camera.
The roof package has arrived, as we are almost ready for it.  Sadly, this was the last delivery we received from Hayward lumber, as they closed their Bakersfield yard in the middle of this job!
As you can see, the roof package is pretty hefty.
OK, time to break that roof package open, and start putting the big pieces up!
The addition is plumb-and-lined, and the post that supports the patio beam is braced and ready.

While small (under 300 sq. ft. of living space was actually added), the addition is far from simple - it is a very custom project requiring a high caliber of experience and craftsmanship.

Please note: this is not my design, I am the General Contractor on this project.
