Solving Tough Miter Angles for Staircase Baseboards
Use a sliding T-bevel and simple angles to simplify skirtboard and landing transitions
In this video, Fine Homebuilding contributing editor Rick Arnold demonstrates how to find skirtboard to landing baseboard trim miter angles without using math. Instead, his easy and foolproof method starts with a random angle on the wall that is then transfered to the baseboard using a sliding T-bevel. As an added bonus, there won’t be a test for this geometry lesson.
