One of the challenging things about storing tools on pegboard is that when you grab the last item off a hook, it invariably lifts the hook out of position. After finishing a project that included edgebanding, I got an idea. I took a 2-1/2-in. piece of edgebanding, slipped it over the hook, and screwed it to the pegboard. It kept the hook in place and cost next to nothing.

Great tip and "Hats off" to you for sharing. I won't be having that problem any more now.
Thanks,

Plumbers strap and a couple screws works great also.
Or you could just purchase the "Talon" brand peg board hooks and not have to go to all the extra work of making the the regular peg board hooks work. And your peg board layout will look much neater too !
