Architect Paul Krueger had an unusual request when approached by clients to design their Martha’s Vineyard guest house. They owned a large and dynamic piece of artwork by Andy Goldsworthy that they wanted to include somewhere in the relatively small house. Krueger came up with this clever installation wall for the dining room that displays the piece prominently and protects it by housing each component in its own glass-covered built-in niche. The walls in the room are natural hemlock, the ceiling beams are fir and the floor is limestone. A great room in a small house!
