Joseph Truini

Joseph Truini's apprenticeship began at the age of 12 when his father, a carpenter, woke him up one morning and told him it was time to go to work. He used the skills he learned that summer, and subsequent summers, to make a living as a remodeling contractor. For more than 20 years now, Joe has written extensively about homebuilding, remodeling, and carpentry for publications such as Fine Homebuilding, Popular Mechanics, Today's Homeowner, Country Living, Handy, Home Mechanics, and This Old House.
