Summer home on a Montana family ranch for a family member living on the East Coast. The house had to be flexible enough to accommodate up to 60 people for family gatherings with room for 12 or more extra family members to sleep there during the holidays. Local material use was emphasized as well as energy efficiency. The house will eventually serve as a full-time residence.
