Tacking a piece of trim in place is a terrific way to mark the length or to scribe a line, but what if you’ve got a finish nailer that’s set on burying its nails to finished depth? The solution: a jig that rides on the trim. The safety of the finish nailer bottoms out on the jig, and the nail goes in the notch, leaving it proud for pulling later.
