Custom Knife Simplifies Drywall Work
The secret lies in rounding the corners.
I’ve found that by rounding the corners of a broad 9-in. taping knife, I can apply drywall compound faster and with fewer ridges to remove later. I’ve also found that I can minimize sanding if I go over an area with this knife after the compound starts to firm up.

How did you round off the corners? Thanks in advance, Tonawanda
^ I'd say your best bet would be a bench grinder to round the corners ....
I'd send that in for Patent.
I've been doing this for many years, too. It works very well. To round the corners - bench grinder or a belt sander are simple and effective.
