A folding miter-saw stand

I came up with an idea that allowed me to recycle something old to solve a problem that I had with something new. As shown in the drawing, I modified an old folding ironing board into a portable stand for my miter saw. I affixed a 3/4-in. plywood top to the stand, bolted the saw to it, and added a couple of 2x blocks on each side to act as outfeed supports. A plywood panel screwed to the legs works to steady the stand. When I don’t need the saw, the rig folds up, and I can lean it against the shop wall.
