Durisol Insulated Concrete Forms

They stack like concrete blocks, but are made of recycled wood

Length: 1:32
Produced By: Tom Olivares

Durisol insulated concrete forms stack similarly to concrete blocks, with a few significant benefits. Durisol blocks, which are dry-stacked, are made from cement-bonded 100% recycled wood. Depending on the size of the block, R-values ranging from eight to 28 can be achieved, and unlike ICFs, you can screw into the material anywhere. Once stacked, rebar is placed in the bays and filled with concrete, which not only makes for a comparatively greener wall, but also for a stronger wall.
