The Keg-O-Rator

Built for a serious brewmaster, this kitchen island keeps beer cold and at the ready

Length: 2:54
Produced By: Michael Dobsevage

Built for a serious brewmaster, this Keg-O-Rator is an elegant solution to the long-standing problem of how best to keep beer cold. Homebrewed kegs are stored in a small refrigerator hidden behind a sliding concrete cabinet door, and a tap is mounted on the countertop. Austin, Texas architect Gregory Thomas gets credit for the ingenious solution. On tap for this video: a Bohemian Pilsner.
