There's a Better Way: Third Hand Trick

The opposable thumb was a significant evolutionary achievement, but any builder will tell you that a third hand would have been even better. Lacking an extra hand, however, shouldn't hold you up on the job site. In this video, Chuck Miller demonstrates Rick Arnold's trick for holding a board in place while framing. To use Rick's tip on the site, you'll need nothing more than a hammer, a nail, and your own two hands.
