Custom Designed Swinging Bookcase

This is the secondary panel that opens with the swinging bookcase.  It is hinged on soss hinges and is spring loaded so it opens and closes with the door.
This is a view of the swinging panel with the door open.

This is a custom designed swinging bookcase. The customer wanted it built on a standard interior door with the bookcase swinging out. This posed a problem of concealing the hinges of the door beside the bookcase.  This was overcome by creating a second moving panel that swings out of the way to create a pocket for the bookcase to swing into.
