Custom Designed Swinging Bookcase
comments (3) December 3rd, 2009 in Project GalleryThis is a custom designed swinging bookcase. The customer wanted it built on a standard interior door with the bookcase swinging out. This posed a problem of concealing the hinges of the door beside the bookcase. This was overcome by creating a second moving panel that swings out of the way to create a pocket for the bookcase to swing into.
