What was once drywalled wasted space becomes his and hers curio cabinets, even had enough space left in the "wedge" to squeeze in a closet for the vacuum and dust mop. Materials are recycled redwood from a water tank, doug fir from boardwalk timbers, sugar pine from numerous door stiles, bead board t&g and french door is new, my stash was just too rustic. The well worn maple floor came out of Prescott Carnegie Library, discovered later complete with termites, most of the trim materials in this house came off structures that had already started making their way down the hill. Still looking for the right return air grill...
