This set of 50 years old sawhorses I inherited from my dad. At 23” tall they are just the right height for me to stand on to reach an 8’ ceiling or sit on to work at the bench or eat lunch. The sturdy 13” high shelf works well as a step to stand on or walk to the top to reach a bit higher. Placing 2x or a door on top of them make a perfect bench for setting cabinets on for painting where normal work bench height may be a bit to high.
