This bench, of cedar 4x4s and tongue and groove siding, has a hammered copper top. Sitting on top of it is a plastic lined potting soil box. It looks pretty tidy here, but it gets a lot of use by my gardener wife and often looks pretty gritty. Hammering copper is no picnic.
