Finally there's a use for all those old belt sanders, and circular saws collecting dust in your shed — power tool drag racing! In this video, veteran weekend warrior Bre Pettis shows how he built a winning racer from a power-edger, a roller skate, and a few strips of AstroTurf.
Before he starts his build, Bre fittingly warns, "it's a just a good idea to keep your hands away from anything that can cut them off." He also points out, with power tool racing, style is just as important as speed — it's more about winning over the crowd than winning the race. Take a look...
