STREET APPEAL

I DO NOT HAVE ANY BEFORE PICTURES OF THE HOUSE, BUT IT LOOKED RATHER PLAIN FROM THE STREET WITH A 2X8 ON EDGE WRAPPED IN  COLOURED METAL TRIM AROUND THE GARAGE DOOR OPENING.AND THE INSIDE OF THE GARAGE WAS DARK AS THERE WHERE NO WINDOWS.I FOUND IT VERY DEPRESSING TO WORK WITHOUT DAY LITE, AND THE REASON FOR NOT HAVING WINDOWS AND EXTERIOR DOORS WAS SECURITY.

SO THIS DESIGN ADDRESSED ALL MY PROBLEMS .

THE GARAGE HAS PLENTY OF DAY LITE NOW, AND SECURITY IS OK,AND STREET APPEAL IS THERE IN MY OPINION.

ALL THE COMPONENTS ARE MADE FROM 3 SHEETS OF 1/2" SMARTBOARD INCLUDINGTHE WINDOW FRAMES.WINDOW  DIVIDERS ARE MADE FROM A SALVAGED FIR DOOR JAMB AND COVERED WITH WHITE VINYLSHELF EDGE  TO MATCH OTHER WINDOWS OF THE HOUSE,OTHER COMPONENTS ARE COLOURED METAL FLASHING AND 2X LUMBER AS BACKING.THE WINDOWS ARE SITTING ON TOP OF THE DOOR BEAM AND FRAMING WAS ADDED  IN BETWEEN TO SUPPORT THE GABLE WALL..

LETS HEAR YOUR OPINION..

THUMBS UP OR DOWN.
