Original portico was centered on window but not on the door. The columns were too close together and crowded the door. The portico also was too low blocking the beautiful spider web leaded glass transom. The Designer, Kaja Gam specified Windsor One moulding, for a really clean classic look. A new door and leaded side lights were added to complete the look. The tricky part was removing all of the above and putting in new bluestone steps and deck and supporting the load up above. These columns are load bearing.
