Podcast: Lead-Safe Remodeling Tools and Equipment
comments (0) September 29th, 2010 in Blogs
Welcome back to Fine Homebuilding’s Lunch Pail Podcast. We’ve been on a bit of a vacation lately and we’re back now.
This week we’ll begin a three-part series on lead paint and the new EPA lead remodeling rule. The series covers tools, costs, and liability. This episode focuses on tools and equipment necesary to comply with the new law, which took effect back in April, but whose enforcement takes effect Oct 1, 2010.
In this series, web producer Ed Pirnik is joined by fellow producer Dan Morrison as they listen to an interview with Bob Hanbury, a remodeler from Newington, CT. We spoke with Bob during a video shoot on lead-safe remodeling practices.
Visit our Lead-Safe Resource Guide to learn how to keep your remodeling projects lead-safe (and litigation-free). Videos, downloadable articles, compliance toolkit, and more.
