Kitchen remodel on a budget

My cousin gave me his old oak cabinets that were in mint condition.  Timing was perfect because I had just finished remodeling the bathroom and doing all the floors over in this apartment that was ruined by tenants with two dogs and my pockets were empty by this point.  I salvaged some of the oak from the old cabinets to build the open shelves that fill the space needed to complete the job.
