Funky Kitchen Remodel
comments (2) September 27th, 2010 in Project GalleryKitchen for my artist mother, she had been stuck in the early seventies, so I designed a new layout with an island and built new cabinets, she could not be more pleased with the end result. My father enlarged the room, taking space from what used to be the dining room. I designed and built all the cabinets from scratch, and built the island with some walnut and some copper we got from a local roofing company. I found the backsplash tile online, and we trimmed out the ceiling soffit in copper we had leftover from the island.
