Ballasts made from pvc pipe filled with sand and capped are vey useful in holdiing down plastic sheeting when pressure washing or scraping the exterior of a house. The sheeting can be wrapped around the pipe to create a well to contain any water or debris. This is especially useful when trying to capture any lead based paint chips.
