restaurant bar-back
comments (0) April 13th, 2011 in Project GalleryThis is the area behind the bar at a Northampton restaurant. I used 3/4" oak plywood for its strength and dimensional stability. I made all the cuts in my shop at home and assembled everything on site.
My estimate was a little too low on this job. I neglected to consider how much sanding I'd have to do to reveal the oak under the old brown paint. Working around their business hours was also an obstacle. Regardless, it's something I'm proud of and has already raised interest in my work.
