Last week Bosch held a media event at their headquarters in Illinois to show us media-folk some of their brand new, and yet to come, tools. As we settled in for day 2, I took some guerilla video of Bosch's marketing room (this wasn't the name, but I forget the offical wording they use) where they set up racks and display all of their tools.

Very cool stuff for tool junkies like me (and you).

There's also a closer look at some of their new tools, such as the latest line of 18v Li-ion drill/drivers and an ultra-compact portable bandsaw.

I actually have no idea whether I'm allowed to share this with the general public, but I'll risk it and see if anybody from Bosch tells me to take it down! Until then, enjoy!

I want to know how it compares to the old Dewalt DC616K. Can it drive 2" 16 gauge finish nails into 3/4" and 1" Hardie Trim? Hardie recommends 2" 16 gauge finish nails for exterior trim installation. Does it consistently set nails in tough material without jambing?
