Drab to Cheery Basement Remodel
comments (0) November 15th, 2011 in Project GalleryThis basement received a tremendous transformation. The wood paneling and dated bar was removed. We reconfigured the rooms and enlarged the bathroom by creatively placing the new fiberglass shower unit under the stairs. The bathroom is finished off with a pin wheel pattern tile floor with deco mosaic and bone colored toilet, sleek pedestal sink, and recessed medicine chest.
The family room and bedroom received new drywall, carpeting, glass block windows, recessed lighting with dimmers, and new painted trim and doors. The clients now have a warm space where they can relax, room for their children to play, and a spot for guests to stay.
