My company does both new construction and whole house remodeling work and it's interesting to see that houses older than 1960 are almost always pier & beam construction but homes built after that are nearly always slab foundations.  In this video I'm discussing the merits of these two foundation types with one of my favortite building science experts Mark LaLiberte.  Matt Risinger - Risinger Homes Austin, TX
