An "Out There" Shower

Hutker Architects of Martha's Vineyard and Cape Cod have developed a reputation for designing great houses and for their innovative and beautiful outdoor showers. But according to Phil Regan, a principal at the firm, this one may have been their first "commissioned" one. The homeowners requested that he design something with a little privacy, but very open and "out there". Inspired by a Native American dream catcher, this shower has a circular form with floor geometry of mahogany and beach cobble. Being in the shower is almost like being out in the open, but not quite. The views are spectacular, and '"right out there" just like the homeowners wanted...
