Bold colors and materials help make this house a home

This colorful living room wall is part of the main living space in this light and airy home in Santa Barbara. Using maps as wallpaper and bold colors helps keep the room playful and warm. The bamboo in the front entrance provides privacy and the suggestion of a larger forest.
