Addition to 1930 structure with complete facade re-design to match client's eclectic interests and lifestyle. Situated along Long Island Sound on City Island, within NYC with forever easterly views, this project supports and expands the clients love for the sea.

ZS_Design_Architect ZS_Design_Architect writes: Hi Huck - the project died as soon as i finished the construction documents as the owners lost a ton of money in investments. It may come back though in a year or two i have been told.

It is lighthouse inspired as they had some really nice art pieces of light houses as well as a beach theme to the colors and brightness of the existing house.

The site is across the street from Long Island Sound and has forever views from the second floor. The tower element is to bring light into the existing stair. I wanted to bring light into the interior from all angles and times of day so as to keep the entry bright.

If you like - please contact me to see if i can help you with your project - 914-589-1229
