What a great place to sit and enjoy a beautiful afternoon on San Francisco Bay! This cool house in the Bay area city of Belvedere was built in the 1960’s by developer/builder Joseph Eichler. A prolific builder, Eichler built around 11,000 houses in and around San Francisco in the 50’s and 60’s. This one was lovingly restored by the current owners into an exceptional example of mid century modern architecture, with distinctive California touches. The courtyard introduces one to the open plan of the house, and is a perfect place of shelter from cold ocean breezes. Seeing right through the house to the hills of Sausalito beyond it’s a perfect place to entertain guests.
