Here are some pictures from my kitchen and mudroom remodel. I’m an avid DIYer, and have learned lots from FHB over the years. This was, by far, my most ambitious project to date. That said, I completed the entire project, from demo to moving back in, in seven weeks flat – alone. We’re really enjoying the new space.

impressive! that's a really large kitchen space to do in 7 weeks, alone. very handsome. i like how there's seating for a crowd and how the black chairs (even booster seat), the stainless finishes and the matching light fixtures each help pull the space together. i also like the tan/black color scheme as reflected in different table and counter finishes. very sophisticated polished floor on the diagonal. i also think the earthy flooring and backsplash, along with the dark crown molding, make for a rich laundry/mudroom. you must have saved a bundle doing it yourself. congratulations on a terrific job.
