After 1.  Added a window for a great view to the backyard at the new sink location. Flat panel, cherry cabinets true to the original home design.  Soapstone countertops wrap around kitchen. Food prep convenient to sink. Commerical range and hood.   Glass block windows under cabinets allow light but not the neighbors.
Before 1. Dreary and inefficient, with a lovely view of the side of the neighbors house only 15 feet away.
After 2  Buffet houses good glasses, cook books and linens.  Follows the Craftsman style of cabinetry in rest of home.
Before 2.  Across the kitchen to cook and access fridge. Upper cabinets housed groceries.  Food prep counter away from sink.
After 3. Moved doorway to the right to keep traffic from dining room to back of house out of the kitchen prep area. The insulated wine rack reflects the homeowners love of wine. The laundry chute was kept for soiled napkins and towels.

This was a tired 60s rehab of a 1920s bungalow.  Updated the look, layout and function.  Colors are bold and rich.  It is small and efficient and allows the homeowner to entertain in style.
