This is the kitchen of a 100 year old house. The kitchen was gutted to the framework and remodeled from the floor up. The kitchen will eventually sport new lighting, cabinets and appliances and refinished 100 year old yellow pine floors

I am a part time remodeler and full time police officer. This was the first project I took on as a semi-professional renovator. This home is a 100 year old house in the downtown- Little Italy neighborhood of Omaha, NE. This kitchen was absolutely gutted. The original plaster was removed along with the original knob and tube wiring. It was replaced with modern drywall and Romex. The cabinets were replaced with cherry finished modern cabinets and stainless steel appliances. Even the old galvanized plumbing was replaced with fresh copper. It was a challenge from the first day due in large part to the house settling over the years. In the end it turned out beautifully and was featured in a local Tour of Historical homes. I hope you guys like what I've done with 100 years of history.
