It is the only bath in the house, a 1100 sq ft ranch. Almost every time I used the toilet I whacked my right elbow on the vanity. The tub was sturdy cast iron but the shower dribbled and I needed a bathroom where I could age in place. I sacrificed the tub and gained a lovely shower with slate tile that is completely anti-skid and–wonderful luxury–heated. With the loss of the vanity, storage space needed to be acquired, so we annexed 6 inches from the backside of the hall linen closet. This is where the control for the floor and an electrical outlet are housed. I am the photographer on all photos.
