This is a covered Ipe tiled deck built above my workshop. Deck floor supported on a pedestal system on an EPDM sloped roof. Drainage through 2 scuppers in rear of addition. Designed by Jim Norton (Architect) and built by myself. It is surrounded by large hardwood trees on 2 sides which gives a feeling of being "up in the trees".
