Frequent Fine Homebuilding contributor Scott Grice's dog, Easy, is named after the fictional detective Ezekiel “Easy” Rawlins from the best-selling mystery series by Walter Mosley.
Yes, Scott’s Easy is the dog version of Denzel Washington’s character in the movie adaptation of Mosley’s Devil in a Blue Dress. After almost a dozen mysteries, Mosley has reportedly retired his famous character, but the adventures of the character resting at the base of the deck stairs Scott built (shown above) continue. . .
