Question: What is Causing This Black Mold?

This summer we put a final coat of Cabot's Semi Transparent oil based stain on our contemporary home in CT.  We used the same material during original construction two years ago with no problems.

Six weeks after carefully power washing, allowing to dry in dry conditions the house is exhibiting significant black mold.

In conversation with Valspar and Cabot's they have acknowledged that they reformulated the material with linseed oil and agreed that the new formulation acts as a mold magnet, despite NO CHANGE in labeling.  Cabot's and Valspar is not being particularly responsive and based on our experience I would recommend considering other products.  Has anyone else had a similar experience?

Light and air on 3 sides. Nasty black mold on the Cabot semi-transparent stain finish. Treated it but its coming back. No problems on other surfaces that were finished with another product. No response from Cabot...
