I find it hard to believe that inexpensive spurred spade bits are unavailble in Seattle. Or maybe this 'tip' has been stuck in a time capsule for the last 25 years?
Am I missing somtehing? Why doesn't this shelf just slide out as soon as you load it with shingles?
This hit all the points on the Dewalt press release no doubt, but I would have liked to see a bit more field review. Eg, does it have a custom recharger, and if so, how much does that cost? How long does it take to recharge a pack? How much can you get done with one pack (say - how many 4x4 cross cuts on the miter saw)? How heavy is the pack - can it be used with hand-held tools without balance/strain issues? How long is the warranty period (always good to note on a first-version release).
No video on the site seems to work. Other comments indicate this has been true for a while. Nice job FHB.
No video for this or any other link here. Apparently no one at FH can be bothered to check their own site. Lovely.
