Re: Flushing Out the Ultra Water-Efficient Stealth Toilet

I have a hang-up with water saving toilets. They may get the contents out of the bowl just fine but what happens down stream in your plumbing pipes. I can guarantee that your average residential building drain + building sewer are longer in length than 40 feet by the time they get to the city sewer pipe. Compounding this is the fact that most older homes have cast iron soil pipe which is notorious for plugging up. The idea of this toilet may make you feel all warm and cozy in side until you have to call a drain cleaner for $300.

Re: New from the Tiling a Shower Video Series: Install a Shampoo Niche

I enjoyed the short video on tiling a shower niche by Mr. Tom Meehan. His experience shines through the presentation. I like the idea of cutting in a shower niche during tile installation. Adjusting the niche to your existing tile layout saves time and looks as if it was planned right from the beginning. I'm a plumber by trade but love to design and build things. Mr. Meehan book has helped me to build two traditional tile shower bases with success and I also used his story pole suggestion on several tile projects with outstanding results. Good stuff!

Re: Tablesaw Accident Sparks Million-Dollar Finger

There is always going to be opportunist in every society and low life lawyers looking to "score the big class action lawsuits" that would make both fame and fortune. These frivolous lawsuits would never get traction if judges would cease to be legislators "public policy makers", activist, etc. all around bottom feeding scum suckers. I miss logic and respect of law.
