Re: Haiti InnoVida Update
After posting a comment about this company on your previous blog, I have received several emails from the company. Walter Rest says:
posted: 3:37 pm on February 3rd"Our reply to your recent inquiry was an obvious mistake from our part, please accept my apologies. We are currently not setup to service New Mexico."
Wendy Corrales says:
"We are just starting out in the US at the moment. We have a low production factory in Miami, FL but are currently working on having a high volume factory ready in the gulf region later this year. With this type of factory, we would be able to meet your current needs without doing a joint venture partnership."
Good luck to InnoVida, hope your product gets to market soon!
Re: IBS 2010: Green Builder Donates 1,000 Homes to Haitians
This product sounds great, but ...
posted: 10:53 am on February 1stWhen I contacted them asking about price and where to purchase here's the response I got back:
Thank you for your interest in our company. We enter new markets through joint venture agreements with local partners. An investment of several million dollars is required from the partners to setup a local factory so viable projects for large number of units should be the driving factor to justify the investment. We do not work with agents or distributors.
So unless you've got a couple of million dollars to go into manufacturing, this product won't be available in your area anytime soon. To bad.
