I love technology and I love how it can advance our society. However I think that sometimes marketing can get in the way of our checkbook more than it can improve our lives. This may not be true for everyone but in this case, I am not a professional carpenter but simply have wood working as a hobby. And yes, I pound the keyboard more than I pound nails too. And I understand the small expense no matter how large it may be to improve a repetitive task that is done every day or a thousand times a day. But for me to spend 200 dollars on a hammer would be a waste and if I did, I can already hear my father saying, "You spent how much?"
