More user friendly, usefull, cabinet space

Kitchen wall opening
There was no trim on the wall prior to this custom trim. It is a cost effective and time saving idea. Basic trim was used along with custom made flutes. The time it took to complete was about 4 hours.

All the hardware is from L.J. Smith. Loews carries some of their products. When bolting together parts, they will not match up perfectly. There will be some carving and sanding involved. You will need a specialty tool from L.J. Smith to tighten the bolt. And of course, use plenty of glue. If the glue oozes out from the connection, that is a good sign, just take a wet rag to wipe away the excess. My glue of choice is Tightbond 2. Instructions are on the package of all L.J. Smith bolts. I hope this was informative.
