Re: Titanium hammers up for grabs. Want one?

My college roommate and I are both construction majors and work in the field on the side. He owns both a 14 oz Stiletto framing hammer and a 10 oz finish hammer, both of which have wooden handles. He swears by them, I've tried them on occasion when he's willing to give them up. He received them both as gifts so the price didn't phase him. Personally I use a dead-on framer, the price is the only thing stopping me at $200 from getting one of these. I'm more apt to purchase a new power tool at that price than a hammer. I would still gladly accept one as a little present from FHB though.

Re: 16-g. Nailer Giveaway

He looked at 16 guns total with the Bostich being the favorite gun. There were 13 features discussed with a few features that belonged to specific guns. They are as follows:
magazine type(most important feature)
ability to id nail size
line of sight on nose piece
no-mar pad(MAX doesn't have one)
oil vs. oil-less
contact or sequential fire(only a few had this feature)
adjustable exhaust ports
Belt hook(not all had this feature)
Swivel connector( exclusive to ridgid)
Ease of jam clearing
lockout function(again, only a few had this feature)
Easy-to-use depth adjustment
Blower feature(Exclusive to hitachi)
