The design was developed with the idea of an arts and craft or Frank Lloyd Wright them. Baseboards, window and door trim plus corner guards were installed. The material was white ash to match the original oak stair railings. It was stained golden oak and given 2 coats of satin varnish. All products were water based. The homeowner is exstatic as the style compliments the Eames furniturein the dining area.
