Happy Hollow Outdoor Kitchen
The problem was creating an entertaining area in the backyard with a fireplace, built-in grilling area and water feature tucked into a small area with close neighbors. The idea was to create an arbor surrounding the entertaining area to create an outdoor “room” and help with tying together the new features.
The house is a small tudor revival and the aspect that makes it successful is the attention to the details of the arbor and features that fit the style of the house.

This photo shows the encircling wood arbor that creates an outdoor room for entertaining. A built-in kitchen and fireplace are on the right with a water feature to the left. The arched arbor forms a gateway to the backyard.
This photo depicts the surrounding arbor transitioning to the stone fireplace and terminating with the covering of the built-in grill.
This photo shows the door leading from the backyard to the side of the house. The door design uses details such as the round top, hardware straps and a see through center that reflects the tudor revival style of the house.
This photo depicts the detail of the arbor. It shows the mass of the column with thick supports that proportionally feel proper to support arbor above.
