Official Rules: Project House Master Bath Design Challenge
If wandering through a tile showroom or plumbing-supply store fills you with ideas for killer bath projects, we’d like to tap your imagination for our Project House Master Bath Remodel. So far, we’ve got a great design in place to turn this outdated, mid-century space into a functional and accessible master bath. Designed by architect Duncan McPherson of Samsel Architects, it will feature a wall-hung vanity with a concrete top and integral sink, a curbless shower and tiled walls. What we haven’t settled on yet are the details: the right wall and floor tile, the appropriate fixtures and color palette that will bring it all together. We’re envisioning a “calm” space incorporating neutral hues, good lighting, and, of course, water-saving fixtures. Other than that, it’s up to you. So check out our “before” photos and “after” plans, and get inspired. Post your suggestions—they can be pictures of baths you’ve remodeled or of materials you think we should use—in our gallery, and you may win a $100 gift certificate toward purchases in the Taunton store.
