Push Pull Rotate Knobs
Rotation, pushing, or pulling on the handle opens the door
How much is it worth not to risk fumbling a load of groceries while trying to open a door? Brinks Home Security’s new Push Pull Rotate knobs (brinksppr.com) set the price at $25 ($55 for an exterior knob and lockset). Although they look like traditional knobs and levers—and can be rotated like the traditional versions— pushing or pulling on the handle also opens the door. They make passing through a doorway with heavy or bulky loads—or dirty hands—a breeze. Bump the handle with a hip or elbow, or tug with a single finger, and the latch is disengaged.
