Editor's Review: 12-in. Compound-Miter Saws
by Rick Arnold, Mike Guertin
review date: July 1, 2004
This well-made 12-in. compound-miter saw offers decent cutting capacities at a fair price. Its blade guard limits the height capacity of stock set against the fence, however. For example, the blade housing permits an upright cut of 5-3/4 in., but the guard allows only 4-1/2 in. of clearance near the fence. It comes with a 60-tooth carbide blade.
