Jigsaw blades typically cut on either the upstroke or the downstroke, leaving tearout on one side of the wood. The new Bosch ground-tooth T308B Xtra-Clean for Wood jigsaw blades cut on both the upstroke and the downstroke, leaving a cleaner cut than you can get from a standard stamped-metal blade. A fivepack of these T-shank blades sells for about $14.
